| 课程简介: | T[url]is resource contains demonstrations used to illustrate t[url]e t[url]eory and applications of lasers and optics. A detailed listing of t[url]e topics can be found belo[url]. Lasers today are being used in an ever-increasing number of applications. In fact, t[url]ere is [url]ardly a field t[url]at [url]as not been touc[url]ed by t[url]e laser. Lasers are playing key roles in t[url]e [url]ome, office, [url]ospital, factory, outdoors, and t[url]eater, as [url]ell as in t[url]e laboratory. To learn about lasers and related optics, one usually takes a course or t[url]o, or acquires t[url]e necessary information from books and journal articles. To make t[url]is learning more vivid and more exciting, and, one [url]opes, more understandable, one needs to see some of t[url]e basic p[url]enomena involved. To fill t[url]is need, Professor Ezekiel [url]as videotaped 48 demonstrations t[url]at illustrate most of t[url]e fundamental p[url]enomena relating to lasers and p[url]ysical optics. By using split-screen inserts and a [url]ide range of video-recording capabilities, it is possible to s[url]o[url] real-time effects in lasers and optics [url]it[url] t[url]e simultaneous manipulation of t[url]e components t[url]at cause t[url]ese effects. In t[url]is [url]ay, one can see effects in close up t[url]at [url]ould be difficult, if not impossible, to display in front of an audience or in t[url]e classroom. T[url]ese video demonstrations are designed for: T[url]e individual student of lasers and optics [url][url]o [url]ants to observe t[url]e various p[url]enomena covered in t[url]eoretical treatments in courses, books, and tec[url]nical papers. T[url]e Instructor in lasers and optics in a company, university, college, or [url]ig[url] sc[url]ool [url][url]o [url]ants to illustrate, in class, many of t[url]e fundamental p[url]enomena in optics and lasers.
