本课程介绍数据结构和算法，数据结构的类型和编程原理。学生将通过课堂学习抽象数据类型的概念，并将ADT概念应用到数据结构的实现中。讨论递归函数、算法效率、数量级分析和大O表示法。学生将使用各种排序和搜索技术实现可应用于数据结构的操作。此外，学生将接触到线性数据结构，如链表、堆栈和队列。非线性数据结构，如树和图形也将被讨论。在课程结束的时候，学生应该能够在小组进行的微型项目中应用数据结构的理论和概念。
课程简介: This course provides an introduction to data structure and algorithms, types of data structures and programming principles. Student will learn abstract data type concepts using class and apply ADT concept in the implementation of data structures. Recursive function, algorithm efficiency, order of magnitude analysis and Big O notation will be discussed. Students will implement operations that can be applied to data structures using various sorting and searching techniques. Further, students will be exposed to linear data structures such as linked lists, stack and queue. Non-linear data structures such as tree and graphs will also be discussed. At the end of the course, students should be able to implement and apply the theory and concepts of data structure in the mini project which is conducted in group.
