He explains the different methylation patters that are found in each tissue and shows what controls this disparity in gene expression. Additionally, there is an in depth explanation of CpG islands and their importance in gene regulation. Lastly, Professor Cedar explains the specific importance of DNA methylation and histone methylation in gene regulation. |
