课程简介: | In this work we propose a probabilistic disaggregation framework which can determine the energy consumption of individual electrical appliances from aggregate power readings. Our proposed framework uses probabilistic soft logic (PSL), to define a hinge-loss Markov random field (HL-MRF). Our method is novel in that it can integrate a diverse range of features, is highly scalable to any number of appliances, and makes less assumptions than existing methods. As the residential sector is responsible for over a third of all electricity demand, and delivering appliance level energy consumption information to consumers has been demonstrated to reduce electricity consumption, our framework has the potential to make a significant impact on energy savings. |
