| 课程简介: | The list of social networking sites is different around the world, but there is no doubt about the popularity of social media. Users on 640m + Facebook, 480m + qzone or 200m + twitter are used to share opinions, insights and media as social citizen sensors. This gives an unprecedented access to data which research institutions can conduct social media analysis to support the application of social intelligence, such as for online content delivery, crisis management, organizational change and social development in less developed countries. This lecture will address the challenges of building applications using social media. It will focus on the concept of events to build users' online activities. We'll briefly show how semantic technologies can be used for disruption, where each social network platform locks a user's silo. Then, we combine the method of the invention with semantic reasoning and visual analysis detection to automatically find the media (photos and videos) from the events of social media activities and explain the events. We will review many works to try to make microposts sense (such as the role of challenge extraction named entity and semantic / background knowledge enhancement technology) to detect events. We will conclude this conversation with research questions covering multidisciplinary areas, such as information retrieval, data mining, semantic networks and network science communities. |
