| 课程简介: | A lecture delivered by UCI Professor Soroosh Sorooshian on February 20, 2008. Professor Sorooshian, Director of the Center for Hydrometeorology and Remote Sensing at the University of California, Irvine is both Distinguished Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering and Distinguished Professor of Earth System Science. Among the world's top experts on drought, he has been advisor to the World Meteorological Organization and in 2005 received the NASA Distinguished Public Service Medal for "providing scientific leadership for global water cycle research and assuring that NASA science is well integrated into international programs." His research focuses on surface hydrology, primarily in the area of rainfall-runoff modeling. |
