Only recently has it become possible to study macro-economic shifts while incorporating the micro-evolutions of people through their careers. An accelerating literature on CEO behavioral biases, executive connections, innovation, and entrepreneurship has started to uncover important structural relations. However, firms are far more complicated than the individuals that lead them. |
